Inspired by Vermilion Sands, a collection of short science fiction stories by J.G. Ballard. All the stories are set in an imaginary vacation resort called Vermilion Sands which suggests, among other places, Palm Springs in southern California.
This hand printed, limited edition, monochrome art print on Japanese paper is one of a pair of prints that play with the idea of the same place from a different viewpoint, and complement each other when hung together. The other artwork is Emerald Mount.
